Swimming & Diving
We just concluded a memorable '23-'24 season. Our women finished with a 10 -2 record that included exciting wins over some very strong longtime conference rivals. On the men's side we finished with a 5 -5 record that included meets against three formidable top 25 programs. Senior Ryan Kappes broke a thirty year old school record in the 400 yd IM while competing at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship at University of Maryland. On the women's side, Sophomore Rourke Peralta and Junior Julie Tiedemann repeated as conference champions. Sophomore Audrey Hitchens provided us with a great top 8 finish in the 1 Meter Diving competition. We had an absolutely breakthrough year with recruiting, with fifteen new swimmers and divers set to join us this Fall. It's a very exciting time for everyone connected with our program.
Head Coach Brian McLaughlin
On behalf of each one of our swimmers and divers we want to thank you for your continued support and belief in these two programs. Our athletes get a complete experience that they truly appreciate. The continued upgrades to our pool, our training trip to San Juan this past January and a host of other important pieces of a season are not possible without your unwavering support. It will be fun once again watching Swimming and Diving do battle against Football and Basketball on the "One Day For Montclair'' leaderboard. Thanks again for your unwavering support. Our aim remains the same; to make you proud of being a part of Montclair Swimming & Diving.
