Volleyball
The 2023 season was a successful one in which the Red Hawks faced a total of six Division III NCAA Tournament Participants and one of the highest strengths of schedule in the history of the program. The program graduated former All-Americans Delaney St. Pierre and Carly Waterman, the program’s All-Time Kill Leader Leah Higgins, and four year starting middle blocker Gianna Arias. The Red Hawks saw some new faces on the court as transfer Outside Hitter Rachel Curran and Skye Ramsey both earned Honorable Mention All-NJAC Honors. Junior Libero Katie Rodman had a breakout year defensively, Sophomore Setter Emily Carcich took on the starting role as a setter and First-Year players Zoey Horn, Lily Thomas, Sophia Lopez, and Gabby Konrad all played significant roles throughout the season. We welcome a very talented Freshman Class for 2024 and cannot wait to hit the ground running against another challenging schedule.
Head Coach Eddie Stawinski:
Your contributions will continue to provide our student-athletes with enhancements to our program. Specifically, this years contributions will go directly towards our Strength and Conditioning Program, purchasing volleyball training aids, and help us begin a fundraising campaign for a team trip in the future.
Your gift to Montclair State Volleyball will make a direct impact on our program’s future. Our student-athletes will continue a tradition of hard work, dedication, and commitment on the court, and in the classroom. With your help, we seek to return to the NJAC Championship and NCAA Tournament, and continue to educate highly motivated women with the desire and drive to achieve their athletic, academic, and career goals.
