Men’s Basketball
The Montclair State men’s basketball team had another successful year finishing the 2023-24 season with the overall record of 18-9. We finished the NJAC regular season with a record of 12-6 and advanced to the NJAC Semifinals for the fourth straight year. Over the past two seasons, we have compiled an overall record of 40-15 and an NJAC record of 27-9. Out of 412 Division III programs in the 2023-24 season, we ranked 13th in the country in scoring at 85.5 points per game and 6th in turnovers forced defensively at 19.9 per game. Junior guard, Michael Jackson, and senior guard, Keyon Pryce, became the 27th and 28th players in school history to score 1,000 points in their careers. Additionally, Michael Jackson finished his junior season with 208 career three pointers made, breaking the previous record of 168. Junior guard, Kieran Flanagan, was named All-NJAC Honorable Mention while Michael Jackson was named 1st Team All-NJAC.
