The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is preparing the next generation of leaders and change-makers—engaged citizens and professionals ready to address today’s most pressing challenges. Through a diverse range of disciplines, our students explore what it means to be human and how we connect with one another, our communities and the world.
Our faculty and staff partner with communities locally and beyond, bringing learning to life through real-world engagement. These experiences challenge students to think critically, act creatively and develop the skills needed to make a meaningful impact.
Expanding access to experiential learning is central to this work. From internships in Washington, D.C. and across New Jersey to innovative, faculty-led courses and hands-on opportunities, students gain the experience and confidence to lead.
The Dean’s Office has made a strong commitment to growing these opportunities—investing in stipends, scholarships and new programs so that every student can participate, regardless of financial circumstances.
With your support, we can do even more. Your gift will help expand internships, fund innovative courses and strengthen the partnerships that make this work possible.
Together, we can ensure every CHSS student has the opportunity to learn by doing—and to graduate ready to make a difference.
With thanks,
Fatma Mili
Interim Dean, College of Humanities and Social Sciences
