About the Museum:
The Charles J. Muth Museum of Hinchliffe Stadium, under the auspices of Montclair State University, honors the legacy of Hinchliffe Stadium, one of the last remaining Negro League Baseball Stadiums in the country, and the hometown stadium of barrier breaker Larry Doby. Through interactive displays, artifacts, and educational programming, the Muth Museum promotes the understanding of Hinchliffe’s historical significance in shaping American social life and bringing Paterson’s diverse communities together.
