59 Candles. One Day to Light the Next Chapter
This April, WMSC 90.3 FM turns 59 - and we are just getting started.
For nearly six decades, WMSC has been the beating heart of Montclair State University, the place where students discover not just their voices but their true potential.This academic year, support from people like you gave three students scholarships, 11 students the opportunity to travel to CBI’s National Student Media Convention in Denver, Colorado, where they spent four days immersed in panels, workshops, networked with industry professionals and peers from across the nation, and brought home six national awards. Two students attended the NAB Radio Show and Marconi Awards, where WMSC was named a finalist for the seventh time in the last nine years. Seven times in nine years. That’s a legacy!
