Volleyball
The Montclair State volleyball team had a big year in 2021, as the Red Hawks matched a school-record with 13 consecutive wins. During the run, they won 25 straight sets and advanced to the NJAC Championship Match. For the first time in school-history, they defeated Stockton twice in the same season and produced two AVCA All-Americans for the first time. They also collected NJAC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors while Head Coach Eddie Stawinski won his 200th career game at the helm of the Red Hawks. Also in 2021, Carly Waterman recorded her 1,000th career kill and became the first two-time All-American.

Your contributions will continue to provide our student-athletes with enhancements around our program. Areas such as locker room improvements, team travel, extra gear, and continuing our strength and conditioning program are some of the areas your contribution will impact. Success does not stop on the court, in the classroom, our team cumulative GPA continues to improve steadily each and every year. Most recently, our program received the United States Marine Corps. / American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, a first in program history.
