Women’s Lacrosse
The Montclair State women’s lacrosse team enjoyed a banner year in 2021, finishing the year with an 8-1 mark and topping The College of New Jersey for the first time in program history. The Red Hawks have qualified for the NCAA Tournament six times and last season, they had three student-athletes named as IWLCA All-Americans for the first time in program history. They have seen 11 student-athletes gain All-American honors and Allyn Lilien matched the school record with 25 saves in the win over TCNJ. The 25 save mark had stood untouched for 40 years. This season, the Red Hawks opened the year ranked No. 19 in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Preseason Poll.
