Men’s Soccer
The Montclair State men’s soccer team has reached the NCAA Tournament 14 times over the last 16 seasons and reached the Final Four in 2011. In both 2018 and 2019, the team was one step from the Final Four, advancing to the Elite 8. The team has won 14 NJAC Championships and had their first Major League Soccer draft pick in 2021 as Michael Knapp was drafted by Austin FC. The Red Hawks play their home contests at MSU Soccer Park at Pittser Field, home to New York Red Bulls II, making their home field one of the premier soccer venues in all of Division III. Your donation supports travel, equipment, recruiting, and other necessary resources to help grow our program.
Head Coach Todd Tumelty:
The men's soccer team would like to thank you for any and all donations during our Annual Day of Giving. As many alumni know, the student-athlete experience here at Montclair State is one of the best in Division III. The family atmosphere and the rich tradition that current players and alumni have created is one that is unmatched at various institutions. We have great facilities, equipment, gear, and many alumni talk about their NCAA tournament experiences. Your continued support will help our current student-athletes embark on the same experiences. Many of our alumni have also had the opportunity to travel all over the United States as well as other countries in order to compete with teams that play at the highest level. This year with your help and support, we are looking to take the team to California and play teams that we would hopefully and eventually meet in the NCAA tournament. We appreciate your support and donations to help make this happen. On behalf of the entire soccer program, we thank those that continue to give back to the program and share a part in all of our success.
