The WMSC Excellence in Radio Scholarship & Training Fund has been established to assist outstanding Montclair State University sophomore, junior, and senior students in defraying tuition costs and to afford them registration and access to industry training. During Fall 2023, WMSC is looking to send at least 6 students to the National Student Electronic Media Convention in Orlando Florida, and at least nine deserving students to the National Association of Broadcasters Radio Show in New York City.
The WMSC scholarship is awarded annually to one or more students who have demonstrated considerable achievement in the department and have significant potential for future creative development in the broadcast arts. The WMSC Excellence in Radio Scholarship and Training Fund seeks to acknowledge and reward the hard work of undergraduate students who volunteer their time and efforts to the radio station and embody the hard work and spirit of Excellence in College Radio.
