Men’s Basketball
The Montclair State men’s basketball team had one of the most successful seasons in school history with an overall record of 22-6, finishing 15-3 in NJAC play. After advancing to the NJAC Semifinals for the third consecutive season, the team earned a spot in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2003. The team has made the NCAA Tournament ten times and advanced to the Sectional Semifinals (Sweet 16) during the 2002-2003 season. Four members of the program have been named All-Americans including current senior Steven Breeman who earned NABC 2nd Team All-American honors. Breeman was also awarded 2022-23 NJAC Co-Player of the Year, the first men's basketball player to earn the award since Gian Paul Gonzalez in 2006. Your donation supports travel, equipment, recruiting, and other necessary resources to help grow our program.
