Field Hockey
The Montclair State field hockey team qualified for the NCAA Tournament on eight occasions, and reached the NCAA Championship Game in 2012. They won the NJAC Championship in 2012 and 2013 and have seen 19 student-athletes gain All-American honors. The field hockey program has also excelled in the classroom, earning National Academic Squad honors and have had individual members of the team named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction.
Head Coach Eileen O’Reilly:
There are so many reasons to be proud of the Montclair State field hockey program. We have many strong traditions of success surrounding the team. Our alumni group is passionate and proud of the current team and provides ongoing support year after year. Our current team is a group of incredibly hard-working young women who strive to carry on our traditions of success and exceptional achievements on the field and in the classroom.
This year with your help and support, we are looking forward to continuing our expansive strength and conditioning program and planning team trips to compete against top division 3 teams to help us prepare to compete for an NJAC championship.
On behalf of the entire field hockey program, we thank those that continue to give back to the program and share a part in all of our success.
