Certificate in General Education Studies
Montclair is proud to have welcomed our first Certificate in General Education Studies (CGES) cohort to campus this year!
CGES is an academic certificate program that is aimed at supporting students with intellectual disabilities at Montclair State University.
CGES is a 2-year, non-degree program that offers an accessible pathway for students to participate in college-level learning and all that Montclair's campus has to offer! Academic concentrations, career exploration, and support is embedded into the curriculum to foster student success and help prepare students for their futures.
CGES aims to empower students to achieve their goals and fulfill their potential. It also benefits the entire campus community- allowing all students the opportunity to learn with and from students of various lived experiences.
Your generosity will support CGES in providing meaningful opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities and embrace a culture of belonging at Montclair.
