Women's Track and Field/Cross Country
Women's Cross Country/Track & Field
The Montclair State Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field Programs are entering an exciting new era, making history and raising the standard for Red Hawk excellence. This past fall, the cross country team ranked as high as 8th in the NCAA Metro Region and achieved the highest finish in program history—11th place—at the NCAA Metro Regional Championships. The team also celebrated an All-Conference and All-Region athlete, earned All-Academic Team honors, and recognized its first NCAA Qualifier, Abigail Churchill. During the 2025-2026 cross-country and track & field seasons, the team has broken 10 school records, with 11 athletes earning all-conference and 9 earning all-region. Montclair State also finished 4th at the conference championships—its highest finish since 2012—and currently ranks 5th in the NCAA Metro Region.
