In 2021, the program had its first Major League Soccer draft pick as Austin FC drafted Michael Knapp. Most recently, the program had its first-ever National Player Of The Year in Amer Lukovic. He scored an NCAA DIII record of 34 goals to help lead Montclair throughout the 2023 campaign.
The Red Hawks play their home contests at MSU Soccer Park (formerly Pittser Field), which is also home to New York Red Bulls II, making it one of the premier soccer venues in Division III. Your donation supports travel, equipment, recruiting, and other necessary resources to help grow our program.
Head Coach Todd Tumelty:
"The men’s soccer team would like to thank you for your support during our Annual Day of Giving. Your donations and support truly make a difference in the student-athlete experience, helping provide opportunities beyond the field, including travel and team gear. Because of past support, our 2023 team had the chance to travel to Germany, compete internationally, and experience a new culture—opportunities that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise.
As many alumni know, being a student-athlete at Montclair State is a special experience at the Division III level. Our program is built on a strong tradition and team culture. With great facilities, equipment, and the chance to compete at a high level—including in NCAA tournaments—our players create lasting memories both on and off the field.
Your continued support helps ensure that current and future student-athletes can enjoy these same meaningful experiences."
"This year with your help and support, we are looking to travel to Atlanta, GA to play Oglethorpe University and Barry University. We appreciate your support and donations to help make this happen. On behalf of the entire soccer program, we thank those who continue to give back to the program and share a part in all of our success."
