Montclair State University has a long-standing tradition of excellence in NCAA Division III athletics, and a key component of that success is our Sports Medicine Team. This dedicated group plays a vital role in the prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and overall health and well-being of our student-athletes.
Our Sports Medicine staff is committed to delivering high-quality, individualized medical care. We recognize that every injury impacts not only performance but the overall student-athlete experience. Through a strong emphasis on education and communication, we help our student-athletes understand their injuries and guide them safely and confidently back to competition.
Our team is comprised of experienced medical professionals, including physicians specializing in orthopedics, surgery, and primary care, alongside our staff of athletic trainers. Together, they provide daily care and coverage for Montclair State’s 19 NCAA Division III programs and 4 USCAA Bloomfield teams. We also serve as clinical preceptors for the Athletic Training Education Program, mentoring future healthcare professionals through hands-on learning and real-world experience.
To continue providing the highest level of care, we are committed to staying at the forefront of sports medicine. Support from our community allows us to invest in the latest equipment and treatment technologies, enhancing our ability to care for student-athletes with the most current and effective tools available. In addition, contributions help fund continuing education opportunities for our staff, ensuring they remain up to date with the latest evidence-based practices and advancements in sports medicine.
Your support directly impacts the health, safety, and success of our student-athletes. Thank you for helping us continue to elevate the standard of care and keep our Red Hawks performing at their best.
