As Dean of the College of Education and Human Services, it is my privilege to connect with alumni to share how we are making an impact, providing an exceptional transformational education for our students and empowering them to make the most of their education. 

Thanks to the support and generosity of our donors, Montclair State University continues to deliver rigorous programs and life-changing opportunities. Your donation will support:

• CEHS Scholarships: We just closed a Dean’s scholarship challenge to garner support for our many students affected by this pandemic. Due to the generosity of our supporters, we have the opportunity to provide $250 and $500 scholarships to over 100 students in need. However, we have many more students in need of assistance.  You could help us provide additional support to these talented students and help them achieve academic success.
• The Red Hawk Labs: Summer Literacy and STEM Enrichment Program, Department of Teaching and Learning: This is an in-person, full-day camp for students in grades K-12 held each summer at Montclair State in summer 2021. In Summer 2021, many of the activities will take place outside. The program is designed to provide enrichment experiences for children who have experienced primarily online interactions with school and teachers for so long. Participation in Red Hawk Labs programming can help alleviate academic losses children have suffered during the pandemic.  Donations will fund scholarships for students with financial need as well as help to cover some operating costs (such as special instructional materials).
• The Community Counseling Clinic: Located on the campus at the Montclair State University Center for Clinical Services, the Community Counseling Clinic provides individual and group counseling for adults and adolescents as well as career, couples, and family counseling. The counseling helps individuals to identify and build on their strengths and resources and to develop skills to address life's problems. People in the larger community have access to affordable clinical services.  Donations will enhance the Counseling Clinic's ability to provide Counseling for low-income clients.
