Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field
The Montclair State Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field Programs are entering an exciting new era, making history and raising the standard for Red Hawk excellence. This past fall, the cross country team ranked as high as 8th in the NCAA Metro Region and achieved the highest finish in program history—11th place—at the NCAA Metro Regional Championships. The team also celebrated an All-Conference and All-Region athlete, earned All-Academic Team honors, and had two individual All-Academic honorees. During the 2024–2025 indoor track & field season, the team broke six school records (60m, 200m, 300m, Mile, Triple Jump, and Distance Medley Relay), posted 36 new Top-10 performances in program history, and saw the 60m squad ranked 10th nationally. Montclair State also finished 4th at the conference championships—its highest finish since 2012—and ranked 10th in the NCAA Metro Region.
