"The Montclair State Women’s Basketball Team has enjoyed tremendous success over the past ten years. Rising to one of the top programs in the nation, Head Coach Karin Harvey has served as the Red Hawks' Head Coach for 18 seasons and has turned the Red Hawks into a national powerhouse. Harvey, the all-time winningest coach in program history, has put together a 350-134 record."
This past season, the Montclair State Red Hawks achieved the best turnaround season in the nation and one of the most remarkable turnarounds in Division III history, finishing with a 24-5 record and capturing the NJAC Championship. This marks Harvey’s seventh New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship and eighth NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball appearance, including a magical run to the Final Four in 2015 in which the Red Hawks finished third in the nation. In 2024-25, the Women's Basketball coaching staff was named the NJAC Coaching Staff of the Year for its remarkable season.
