Montclair State University has a long-standing tradition of excellence in NCAA Division III athletics, and a key aspect of that success is the Sports Medicine Team. This dedicated team plays a crucial role in the prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and overall health and well-being of our student-athletes.
Our Sports Medicine staff is committed to providing high-quality medical care, recognizing that each injury is a significant moment in a student-athlete’s journey. We prioritize education, ensuring that student-athletes understand their injuries and guiding them safely back to competition.
The Sports Medicine Team consists of experienced medical professionals, including team physicians specializing in orthopedics, surgery, and primary care, alongside our staff athletic trainers. Our athletic trainers provide daily coverage for Montclair State’s 18 NCAA Division III sports and serve as clinical preceptors for the Montclair State University Athletic Training Education Program. This program offers athletic training students a well-rounded education with hands-on instruction and mentorship from our sports medicine team and other healthcare specialists. These students graduate prepared for careers in the ever-evolving fields of athletics, medicine, and healthcare.
We remain committed to utilizing the latest evidence-based practices to ensure the highest standard of care for our student-athletes. To further this mission, we invite you to support the Montclair State University Sports Medicine Office. Your generous contributions help us invest in state-of-the-art equipment, provide continuing education for our staff, and address essential needs to enhance the quality of care we provide.
Thank you for your support in keeping our student-athletes healthy and thriving.
