Global Center on Human Trafficking

Human trafficking remains a critical issue in the United States and around the world, impacting countless lives. Global disruptions have only intensified the challenges faced by survivors, including financial hardship, homelessness, food insecurity, interpersonal violence, and grief from the loss of loved ones. These vulnerabilities not only compound the struggles survivors endure after exiting but also place individuals at an increased risk of being trafficked or re-trafficked, further exacerbating the cycle of exploitation.

The Global Center on Human Trafficking (GCHT) at Montclair State University, the second-largest public university in New Jersey, is a leading advocacy hub dedicated to combating human trafficking through education, outreach, and legislative action. Your support is crucial for the success of our mission, which centers on preventing trafficking, supporting survivors, and driving systemic change by harnessing the expertise of scholars, practitioners, and survivor leaders.

Your contribution also empowers students to take meaningful action by equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to address these urgent challenges. By supporting the Global Center on Human Trafficking, you are championing academic-driven initiatives guided by lived experience, subject matter experts, and the educational community. Together, we can provide essential resources to survivors, stakeholders, and community members and raise awareness within our communities.
